         MANCHESTER UNITED

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be starting his strongest 11 today, so as to come out with a good result, he will be delighted to get a great result, so as to help him push aside speculations, surrounding the Club, since the transfer window opened.
Romelu Lukaku is gone, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Daniel James and in, and perhaps even more crucially Paul Pogba is still a Manchester United player.
Plenty of Old faces are Still in the team, but Solskjaer has been eager to freshen up the Squad by targeting young talent and already the United team of 2019 looks more dynamic than its immediately.
Ola Solskjaer has stressed that, all the players in the team will have to fight for a starting shirt, "there will be no special treatment for any player, they ought to fight for a place in the Starting lineups".
Ola Gunnar Solskjaer has also tried to solve some problems, that made the team performance last Season very poor. Making them finish in the sixth place, a very poor result.
Number one on the list is their defensive record. United spent a world-  record sum to boaster their ranks with Maguire and also splashed £50m on wan Bissaka, and they will be hopeful that such a financial outlay results in a significant improvement in the defence.

The main concern among the fans now comes at the other end; Solskjaer insisted that it was the right time to let Lukaku leave, but failed moves for Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic have left them without a replacement beyond youngster Mason Greenwood or playing Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez through the middle.
United will be hoping to extend their records, when they face Chelsea today, which has seen them lose just one of the 26 times, they have begun  a campaign at home. Add to that the possibility of winning five successive opening - day matches for only the Second time in the Club's entire history- and the first since 1910 - and the omens look good for Solsjkaer side.
They have perform extra-ordinary exceptional in their pre-season games, winning all the six matches outings. And will be hoping to continue with their recent form when they face a tough Chelsea side.

                     CHELSEA

With the exception of a change of a Manager, Chelsea's fresh start has been imposed upon them by a FIFA transfer ban which is likely to see a number of young players get chances this Season.
The signature of Christian Pulisic was secured before the embargo came into place, and Chelsea will be hoping will br hoping with the 20 year old great performance at the pre season will be able to fill the shoes of the departed Eden Hazard.
Frank Lampard ascent to the Chelsea job has been quicker than he might have expected, but such was his impact at Derby county last Season, that he has been handed one of Europe's top jobs after just one year in management.
The book marks regard Solskjaer as more likely than Lampard to lose his job first despite Chelsea's notoriously trigger - happy nature when it comes to sacking Managers and their this acceptance around Stamford Bridge that the Club - record goal scorer will need more time than his predecessors has been afforded.
One thing he have in his favour is the love of the fans, a crucial element Maurizo Sarri never quite enjoyed, despite leading the blues to a third - place finish, Europa league glory and the EFL cup final during his only campaign in charge.
Chelsea will be looking to carry their form over from last Summer having lost just one of the final 13 games across all Competition in 2018/19, and on the whole they have managed to that in pre- season with four wins from Seven games including a particular notable one over Barcelona.

Frank Lampard will be hoping to have a first win for Chelsea, as this will be his first game of the Season for the blues as a coach. He will be providing a strong Starting lineups, which can fight till the ver end against a tough Man utd side. As well as avoiding becoming the first man since Avram Grant to lose his first game in charge of the Club.

            HEAD TO HEAD

Chelsea are about to close to a bogey team as United have had in the Premier league era, with the blues boasting the record of being the only side to have beaten the Red devils more often than they have lost to them in the Competition.
United have won just two of their last 13 top flight meetings, although they are unbeaten in their last six at Old traford, winning two and drawing four.
The two sides have not met on the opening day since 2004 -  a match notable for being Jose mourinho's first game in English Football - while you have to go back to 1958 for the last time this fixture was played on the opening day at Old Trafford, when Bobby tharlton scored a hardtrick.
Both league meetings last Season ended all square but united did knock Chelsea out in the fifth round of the FA cup.

                 PREDICTION
We say Man Utd 1 - 1 Chelsea
Man united and Chelsea will likely end on a draw game. Both will be hoping to impress their fans, so they will not want to loose their first game, so as not to create bad impression.
