Zinedine zidane has clarified issues concerning him and Gareth Bale, the welsh forward, saying he did not disrespect Bale of any kind, neither will he do that to any of the Real madrid players. He clearly stated that he respect everyone present at the club.
Bale did not play for Real in the 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the international Champions Cup on Saturday, spending the entirety of the match in the stands, not even making it to the Real Madrid bench, with Zidane revealing his absence was due to the club working on his departure.
Bale's agent labelled Zidane a "disgrace" in an interview with AFP but the french man defended his conduct ahead of Real Madrid pre-season clash against Arsenal in Washington Dc
"At times my spanish is very suspect", Zidane told reporters,"but i want to be clear about this" Zidane said.
Firstly i have not disrespected anyone, especially a player of ours. I always say the same thing. The players are the most important, and i will always be with my players.
"Secondly, i said the Club were trying to sell Gareth Bale, nothing more.
"Thirdly, Gareth Bale did not play the other day because he didn't want to. He said the Club was trying to negotiate his departure, and he didn't want to play because of that.
But all the same Gareth Bale is still a Real Madrid player, who we still trust on.
"He will train normally as a player with us, and will we continue watching ahead to know what tomorrow brings.
He is still a very important player and I'm not at all uncomfortable working with him (Bale), said Zidane. He is still a great player, who can show a very great impact in difficult situations in the field of play.
Bale, 30 has won four Champions league tittle, a Laliga tittle, Copa dey rel trophie, and even the UEFA Cup, Since joining Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur for a world record of 100 million Euros(£89.77m). He has played 213 games for Los blanco side, since joining from Tottenham, Scoring 102goals, 65assist and winning 14trophies.
